The power steering appeared heavy and decided to renew the power steering fluid today in case it fixes it. Or maybe that is how the car was designed?
I started with 2 bottles of new power steering fluid. I drained the power steering tank as much as possible, refill, start engine, turn steering wheel lock to lock a few times, switch engine off, and repeat. In some cases I also started the engine and turned the wheel without refilling the tank, that caused a little bit extra fluid into the tank which I then drew out. I stopped running this cycle when I had just one bottle of fluid left. I then simply refilled the reservoir and it took around 0.5L. I measured what I had taken out and it was around 1.5L and I used in total 1.5L new fluid.
